PROVEN LEADERSHIP FOR ALL OF US
Meet Ryan Mackenzie
Nine generations ago, Ryan’s first ancestor settled in our area and fought in the Northampton County Militia during the Revolutionary War. Through the years, his family’s commitment to service has continued on…with family members helping build companies like Hercules Cement, serving our nation in both World Wars, and serving here at home in professions like teaching and nursing.
Ryan has continued that commitment to serving others in his own life as our U.S. Congressman and as a State Representative before that – standing strong for local residents and the people of Pennsylvania.
In Congress, Ryan is keeping his promise to the people of the 7th Congressional District by supporting policies that grow our economy, protect taxpayers, address affordability, address illegal immigration, improve our nation’s safety, and preserve services for those who truly need them.
Today, he serves on three committees in the U.S. House: Education and Workforce, Foreign Affairs, and Homeland Security. He also serves as Chairman of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee and as a member of several other subcommittees relating to education, counterterrorism, international relations, and more.
Of course, getting results for us in Washington is just a continuation of Ryan’s proven record of public service as a State Representative. In that role, he brought people together and passed bipartisan initiatives into law. Ryan’s accomplishments as State Representative include ensuring our first responders receive the recognition and support they deserve, reforming our tax system to help grow our economy, ensuring fiscal discipline to protect taxpayers, improving maternal healthcare and healthcare related to strokes, and much more.
Most importantly, Ryan truly understands the concerns of 7th District residents.
A local guy who graduated from Parkland High School near the top of his class, he then received his undergraduate degree, with honors, in Finance and International Business from New York University, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Long involved in several charities and nonprofit organizations in our community, Ryan served on the executive council of the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, the board of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the boards of other non-profits that provide affordable housing for seniors and helped individuals with special needs.
Ryan and his wife, Chloe, make their home in Lower Macungie Township with their newborn son, Leo, and rescue hound dog, Ruckus. They are expecting their second child in 2026.
